John Melia BA Hons, LLB, Grad Dip. Applied Law has been a practising Solicitor in Melbourne for twenty years. He began as a law clerk at Mills Oakley Lawyers and worked to Associate level following admission in 2002. He worked as a panel Solicitor in Workers Compensation for 6 years, and then moved into private practice working for a small boutique practice.
In 2009 he commenced Melia Lawyers, a boutique general practice, which he still operates today. He has extensive practice in the areas of workers compensation, conveyancing, wills and estates, criminal law, family law, general litigation, and commercial agreements. He also appears in all jurisdictions in Victoria.
He was qualified as a Nationally Accredited Mediator in 2020 and is currently an Adjunct Lecturer at the College of Law.
