Nathan Moshinsky KC commenced practice at the Victorian Bar in 1964 and was appointed as Queen’s Counsel in 1988.
He has practised in the area of criminal law and was appointed as Crown Counsel in Hong Kong between 1972–1974.
Nathan’s practice however, mainly covered a wide general area of civil law and he has considerable experience in appellate work in State and Federal Courts and the High Court.
From 2003 to 2006 he took part in the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands and acted as the Solicitor-General of that country during this period. He has contributed to many publications including Court Forms Precedents and Pleadings Victoria, Halsbury’s Laws of Australia and was the editor of the Federal Court volume of Practice and Procedure High Court and Federal Court.
