Author

Craig Wappett BA, LLB (Hons), LLM (Qld) is a partner at Johnson Winter & Slattery. His principal areas of expertise are finance, securities and insolvency law. Craig was a member of the Attorney-General’s Consultative Committee for the PPS reforms from 2006 to 2011. He has had long-term involvement with various PPS reform initiatives since the early 1990s. He has written and presented extensively on this area of law and regularly advises financiers, manufacturers, suppliers, logistics, construction and energy and resources businesses in relation to the PPSA and securities issues. Craig also has first-hand experience working with the Canadian and New Zealand PPS legislation.
