Author

John Devereux is Professor of Law at the University of Queensland, and a Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland. A Rhodes Scholar, John has served as a Law Reform Commissioner for Queensland. He currently serves on the Health Quality and Complaints Commission (Qld) and the Social Security Appeals Tribunal (Cth).

Meredith Blake is an Associate Professor in the Law School at the University of Western Australia where she co-ordinates the criminal law program, and teaches criminal law and medical law. She has previously taught both subjects at King’s College, University of London, and City University London.
